Meet Our Founder
What began as a pageantry platform has transformed into a leadership academy that equips young women with skills across various learning tracks. Recognizing the need for growth, I led a restructuring of FOCN, creating a 12-week mentorship program emphasizing practical learning. Since then, over 450 participants have been empowered to launch successful ventures and impactful community projects.
Among many other recognitions, being awarded Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 by the Lumina8 Lifestyle Honors became a profound affirmation that we are on the right path and that the work we do continues to resonate and create meaningful change.
Our Brand Evolution
The Dawn of Face of Congeniality Nigeria
FOCN began with a vision to empower young women, launching its inaugural edition under the theme "Find Your Beautiful." The event attracted over 300 contestants, culminating in a grand finale where four queens were crowned. The program emphasized inner beauty, resilience, and leadership, marking a transformative journey for women.
A Year of Transformation and Resilience
Amid the pandemic, FOCN embraced resilience with the theme "She Who Dares," highlighting courage and purposeful action. The event attracted 500 applications, and 30 women were selected for mentorship and a boot camp. The grand finale crowned four queens, all of whom became leaders, driving change in various industries.
The Divine Blueprint
FOCN focused on empowering women holistically, emphasizing mentorship and leadership under the theme "Better Woman, Better Society." Aimed at fostering not just beauty but leadership, 20 women participated in a three-day boot camp. Four queens were crowned, each becoming an ambassador for societal change through entrepreneurship, advocacy, and education.
Making The Vision Plain
The theme "Who Can Find Her?" focused on celebrating virtuous women. With over 500 applications, FOCN held a transformative boot camp, culminating in the crowning of four queens who excelled in fashion, social media influence, business, and corporate leadership. The event marked a major milestone in expanding FOCN's reach and impact.
The Beginning of a New Dawn
FOCN transitioned from a pageant to a leadership academy, focusing on mentorship, self-governance, and practical learning. The program’s new structure emphasized personal growth, financial literacy, and emotional intelligence, empowering women to lead with purpose and discipline. The transformation signified a rebirth of the brand, setting the stage for future success.
The Cave of Adullam
2024 marked a season of deep refinement for FOCN, focused on strengthening internal foundations, systems, and governance for long-term growth. The year saw website upgrades, faculty expansion with global facilitators, trust-building initiatives, and the launch of the FOCN Marketplace—laying a strong, quiet foundation for future impact.
Hadassah: The Culture of the Palace
2025 was a year of visible expansion and influence for FOCN, marked by the Hadassah program’s success, global facilitators, and the graduation of 51 ambassadors. Major highlights included a widely downloaded lookbook, crowdfunding support for women-led businesses, large-scale conferences, mastermind programs, and significant community growth across Africa and beyond.
